When Will Daddy Be Home?

I don’t think it’s possible for families who aren’t in the military to fully understand the heartache of a young boy or girl missing their parents who are away on deployment.

Finally, a very bright woman from my hometown of Pittsfield, Massachusetts has written a book, co-authored by her 8-year-old son, called Overseas and Away.

With the tech world so dominated by young people you’d think we’d have learned something from them by now.

This fine idea came as the result of local mom Alicia Couture being unable to find a suitable book to console her son Christian while his daddy was gone.

You know the old adage, if you want something done right, do it yourself.

I ‘m equally proud of my sister-in-law Susan who authored the article linked below.

God bless our military men and women…and please Father…a double blessing for the little ones who miss them.

Thanks, Jim. Can only imagine how painful it must be for little kids who are missing their parents in the military.
