We Don’t Know How to Pray

For something Christians are supposed to do “without ceasing,” isn’t it odd the Bible also teaches we’re most likely doing it wrong?

Check this out.

Romans 8:2

Brothers and sisters:
The Spirit comes to the aid of our weakness;
for we do not know how to pray as we ought,
but the Spirit himself intercedes with inexpressible groanings.
And the one who searches hearts
knows what is the intention of the Spirit,
because he intercedes for the holy ones
according to God’s will.

I saw a photo this morning that gave me hope.

Like a child trusting his mother or father, we really don’t need to fully comprehend what’s happening around us.

Simple faith, to embrace God’s will, causes the world (even our enemies) to look on with awe.

It’s that easy.
