My Favorite Sunday School Lesson

There’s something to be said for trying to scare kids straight.

For several years I taught 10th grade Sunday school (a.k.a. Catechism).

The lesson plan was easy, Matthew 25, the Sheep and the Goats.

I’d play an awesome Keith Green song of the same name; then encourage them to close their eyes, heads down, concentrating on the message.

Like no one else could, Keith blended humor, music and reality, cutting them like a knife.

If you have teenagers, (or you’re still acting like one) listen to this song.

If you don’t think you need it, I just may come after you with a ruler.

Far better mine than God’s.
