The Social Justice Distraction

One of the most interesting tricks of the Devil is a scam he came up with years ago, which has penetrated main stream Christianity, called the Gospel of Social Justice.

I’ve got news for you; it’s a distraction designed to get people up in arms about earthly issues, so that his major work can go on with far less interruption.

What is Satan’s goal?

For human beings to die without Christ and His forgiveness.

That’s it…bottom line.

Liberals will hate this blog today.

Why?

Because they want to confront you and I for putting Christ and Holiness ahead of “Social Justice.”

What they don’t understand is that a world filled with True Spirit filled believers is far more inclined to feed the hungry.

Let’s take Mother Teresa for example.

Was she a liberal feminist?

Hardly.

Did she fight for Social Justice?

You bet she did, but, and this is a big but…her primary message was first the Gospel…that Christ is Lord…all else, like compassion and love was somehow secondary, yet still automatic at the same time.

Watch who it is that puts Social Justice plans in its place in the following excerpt from Mark 14:3-11…then notice who emerges in rebellion….you can’t make this stuff up.

Jesus was in Bethany at the house of Simon the leper. While he was eating there, a woman came to him. She had an alabaster jar filled with expensive perfume made of pure nard. She opened the jar and poured the perfume on Jesus’ head.  Some of the followers there saw this. They were upset and complained to each other. They said, “Why waste that perfume?  It was worth a full year’s pay.  It could have been sold and the money given to those who are poor.” And they told the woman what a bad thing she had done.  Jesus said, “Leave her alone. Why are you giving her such trouble?  She did a very good thing for me.  You will always have the poor with you, and you can help them any time you want.  But you will not always have me.  This woman did the only thing she could do for me. She poured perfume on my body before I die to prepare it for burial.  The Good News will be told to people all over the world.  And I can assure you that everywhere the Good News is told, the story of what this woman did will also be told, and people will remember her.”  Then Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve apostles, went to talk to the leading priests about handing Jesus over to them. They were very happy about this, and they promised to pay him. So he waited for the best time to hand Jesus over to them.

Don’t freak out people…if you love Social Justice more than the preaching of God’s Word, I’m not calling you Judas Iscariot.

I don’t have to.

That’s why God gave us His Word, so you can delve into Truth on your own.

Just do me one favor and maybe I’ll change my tune.

Find me a liberal politician, preaching Social Justice, who’s not hungry for power and wealth, and I’ll eat my Bible.
