General Patraeus Cheats On America

Once again, hypocrisy in Government rears its ugly head.

With only a week to go before a closed-door Senate hearing on Benghazi, featuring the one man who knows the whole story, our guiltier-than-thou General Patraeus falls on his sword, as if to save America from his wickedness.

With all the wonderful things said about you over the past 24-hours, I can’t believe we’re talking about the same man I see running for the hills.

Sure, cheating on your wife is a disgrace, but please explain to America how that has any relevance on your ability to give a Senate Intelligence Committee the truth about events in Libya on September 11th, 2012, that lead to the death of four Americans.

Either you are the reason they died needlessly, or the President is the one who  committed the unforgivable sin of letting them eat cake; or should I say mortar?

Whoever it is, you’ve disgraced your office…do we need to spell it out for you?… CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE AGENCY.

Shouldn’t that mean something?

Spare us (liberal media) from the glowing reviews about your accomplishments.

And…right on cue, Democrats are praising you for “doing the right thing.”

These are the same politicians who said Bill Clinton’s affair didn’t affect his ability to govern.

As my dad often said, “the fish rots from the head down.”

General Patraeus; I haven’t said a tenth of what I really think…I guess that makes two of us.

He’s worked for both parties over the years, but still… isn’t it fun to moralize when you’re stuck in the opposition?
