Biden Laughs–Bishops Cry

For those of you still gullible enough to believe anything Joe Biden says, I suggest you take a quick look at a statement released one day after the Vice Presidential debate, by the U.S. Catholic Conference of Bishops.

Though they don’t mention the comedian by name, who told this tale, they are obviously referring to the guy who thought snickering his way through a discussion on how America is doing and where it should be going, would warm the hearts of the viewers.

Joe, you were wrong with your deliberate debate tactic (as we’ve learned now from the White House, that the sneering and laughing was an intentional part of your attack plan) and you lied about what God’s Shepherds here on earth are suing the federal government over.

Isn’t Satan the father of all lies?

Sorry America…when it comes to killing babies I find it difficult to control myself…or maybe that’s just a tactic I’m using.

Hey Joe, here’s an excerpt of your not so funny love letter from the American Bishops.  Be sure you read through it the next time you get ready to receive Holy Communion…it will be waiting for you there at the end of the pew.

WASHINGTON—The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) issued the following statement.

(Bishops Speaking) Last night, the following statement was made during the Vice Presidential debate regarding the decision of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to force virtually all employers to include sterilization and contraception, including drugs that may cause abortion, in the health insurance coverage they provide their employees:

(Biden Speaking) With regard to the assault on the Catholic Church, let me make it absolutely clear. No religious institution—Catholic or otherwise, including Catholic social services, Georgetown hospital, Mercy hospital, any hospital—none has to either refer contraception, none has to pay for contraception, none has to be a vehicle to get contraception in any insurance policy they provide. That is a fact. That is a fact.

(Bishops Speaking) This is not a fact. The HHS mandate contains a narrow, four-part exemption for certain “religious employers.” That exemption was made final in February and does not extend to “Catholic social services, Georgetown hospital, Mercy hospital, any hospital,” or any other religious charity that offers its services to all, regardless of the faith of those served.
