Previously Untarnished Secret Service/GSA in the Light

My father had a saying about corruption.

The fish rots from the head down.

To be fair and clear, one cannot blame the President for either the Secret Service or the GSA scandal.

He is however, experiencing collateral damage.

Both of these organizations had stellar reputations before their recent fall from grace.

Like anyone who thinks they can play with fire, they got burned.

Here’s the Biblical reason things were hidden for so long, from John 3:

For everyone who does wicked things hates the light
and does not come toward the light,
so that his works might not be exposed.
But whoever lives the truth comes to the light,
so that his works may be clearly seen as done in God.

The American people should be grateful for whoever it is that brought these stories into light.

In a funny way, these scandals are forcing the left-wing media to put something on the front page that’s actually true.

Lately they’ve celebrated lies like “the American people believe the Buffet Rule will solve our deficit woes,” or, “Governor Romney can’t relate to the American people because he wife never worked a day in her life.”

As a Christian I’m not supposed to celebrate the failure of others…but God never said I can’t be thankful.

Thank you Lord for the Secret Service and the GSA….bless the innocent in those organizations, but please do not spare the wicked, especially those at the top charged with knowing better.

As for the media–report the story.

You’d be amazed at how real journalism can fulfill your calling.
