Judas and CBS–Say One Thing–Mean Another

In today’s Gospel reading we learn about the ulterior motives of Judas Iscariot.

Sadly for him, his trickery only fooled himself.

Mary (the sister of Lazarus) took a liter of costly perfumed oil
made from genuine aromatic nard
and anointed the feet of Jesus and dried them with her hair;
the house was filled with the fragrance of the oil.
Then Judas the Iscariot, one of his disciples,
and the one who would betray him, said,
“Why was this oil not sold for three hundred days’ wages
and given to the poor?”
He said this not because he cared about the poor
but because he was a thief and held the money bag
and used to steal the contributions.

Last week President Obama traveled to South Korea to meet with Russian leaders.

What he was caught on video saying shocked every American, even a hillbilly like me, who believe his motives are to weaken our country against our enemies, not strengthen them.

When I first heard the President mutter these words to the Russian leader, I saw red.  If we don’t vote him out, we’ll be seeing a lot more Red.

As if Americans aren’t confused enough, the President instructed his minions, including CBS Evening News, to spin this faux pas, as if his comments were intended to add more missiles to our defense system, not take them away.

Don’t buy the spin folks, a day later the President, supposedly joking around, covered a mic with his hand as if to say, “oops.”

That was confirmation enough for me.

Check out the following video and as you’re watching it keep Judas Iscariot’s words in mind.

CBS should be ashamed of themselves–don’t fall for their selfish intentions.

If they and any other Americans believe the lies, who’s really fooling who?

PS…Romney is correct in his assessment–notice how they try to shift blame onto him for the mistake they made–that’s classic Evil Dictator 101 behavior.
